Women Builders of Silakoro in Côte d’Ivoire: Restoration of an Earthen Dwelling and Revitalization of Mural Paintings

This intergenerational workshop and training project will bring participants together with local communities to engage in the restoration of earthen architectural heritage and the revitalization of traditional mural paintings and decorations.
The initiative forms part of the wider Women Builders program, which promotes recognition of women’s knowledge, expertise, and ingenuity in building and the conservation of architectural heritage.
Architect and project organizer Amélie ESSÉSSÉ warmly invites colleagues interested in the initiative to connect, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for participation and collaboration.
