Call For Nominations
The SAH Women in Architecture Affiliate Group leadership team seeks voices of the SAH WiA AG community to expand our SAH WiA AG Council and elect leaders to develop and maintain our programs. Nominations deadline: March 18, email to sahwiaag@gmail.com, subject line: Elections 2022. Please include Names + URL of a professional website of nominees.
Open leadership positions:
The National Outreach Coordinator shall serve for a term of three years, or a sequence of consecutive three-year terms, or until their successor is elected. The position is responsible for facilitating two-way communication and support for the SAH WiA AG community at the national and regional levels, monitoring discussions purposed to increase participation in thematic programs, and establishing partnerships with educational and other relevant institutions and SAH Affiliate Groups.
The Special Events Coordinator shall serve for a term of three years, or a sequence of consecutive three-year terms, or until their successor is elected. The duties include overseeing the planning, promotion, and logistics of various events of the Group.
The Archivist shall serve for a term of three years, or a sequence of consecutive three-year terms, or until their successor is elected. The position is responsible for organization and development of the Group’s digital archive, and provide guidance, overviews and references to collection.
The Communications Associate(s) shall serve for a term of three years, or a sequence of consecutive three-year terms, or until their successor is elected, and shall assist the Communications Coordinator.
Elections Provisions and Executive Team:
- Elections will take place from March 4 to April 4, 2022. Nominations: March 4–18. Vote: March 22–April 4. Results announcement: mid-April. Terms start after SAH 2022 Annual Conference.
- We are looking for leaders at every career stage and from diverse professional backgrounds
- All SAH members are invited to nominate candidates
- All SAH Women in Architecture Affiliate Group members are invited to vote
- Vote by an anonymous e-ballot, invitation will be distributed through group Listserv
- Executive team: currently serving members of SAH WiA AG Council
